  2. 5. Animal Farm - George Orwell
George Orwell is surely not my favorite.

    20. The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger
Has read in my puzzled 18-year-old age. Found so much of me in it.

    21. A Clock Orange - Anthony Burgess
Have not read yet but the movie is great.

    36. Gone with the Wind - Margaret Mitchell
    My 14-year-old age favorite.

    37. The Grapes of Wrath - John Steinbeck
Too heavy. I like Of mice and man or East of Eden better.

    60. Mrs. Dalloway - Virginia Woolf
Have not finished. Seems great though.

    64. Never Let me go - Kazuo Ishiguro
Have not begun yet. Still on bookshelf.

    65. 1984 - George Orwell
A good prediction but surely not my favorite.

    66. On the Road - Jack Kerouac
Have not finished. Will retry someday.

    67. One Flew Over the Cuckoo"s Nest - Ken Kesey
“A bible of 70s rebel youth”. Perhaps not only 70s.

    85. The Sound and the Fury - William Faulkner
    It’s great.

    36. Gone with the Wind - Margaret Mitchell
    don't like it.

    48. Invisible Man - Ralph Ellison
    Great but perhaps too long.

    53. The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien
Okay but too long. The book is darker and more complicated than the movie.

    57. Midnight"s Children - Salman Rushdie
Great but a little hard read, so many newly invented words by the author.

    67. One Flew Over the Cuckoo"s Nest - Ken Kesey
    A Great book for 20s.

    91. To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
